This course is for you if you've completed:

Intermediate Arabic 3 at Pacific Arabic, or
Unit 1 of Al Kitaab, volume 2 at another institution*

You'll Learn

practical skills: increased emphasis on oral and written communication / using the Hans Wehr dictionary
word structures: use of li'anna
verbs: active and passive participles for verbs of form I-IV, review of al-maSdar and participles
vocabulary / conversation topics: free time, going out, sports, discussing preferences, giving reasons
reading / listening: The Arab World...a Look at Morocco

*Other textbooks (including Al-Kitaab) do not present material in the same order as the text we use. Therefore, new students are encouraged to review the topics presented in previous courses before their first lesson.
